Seeds of Hope Trip to Congo!

In collaboration with Azumano Travel, EduCongo put together it’s first Annual Seeds of Hope Trip to Africa! EduCongo’s Executive Director, Lou Radja, along with five global citizens from Portland, Oregon, went on a 11-days trip to South Africa and to the Democratic Republic of Congo (October 21 to November 1, 2008). The purpose of the trip was to build a bridge and connect global citizens on both sides of the Atlantic as well as to support our efforts for education in the Congo. To celebrate the trip and to raise awareness about our efforts, on November 23, 2008 we had our Congo Night Event with Friends of EduCongo! We will announce next year’s trip dates March 1st, 2009!
